How GES, Skyline, Freeman and Shepard Are Building Their Content Moats

A read of 70 competitor sitemap URLs and their lastmod dates — what each company is publishing, where the moats differ, and where ProExhibits has room to take a more sophisticated position.

One important caveat: lastmod (date of last modification) tells us when Google-facing sitemap data says a URL was last modified — not that the page was newly published on that date. Treat this as a measure of content activity (new publishing plus meaningful page updates), not pure publishing frequency.

One particularly important competitive signal

The rent/buy/hybrid topic appears in both this competitor dataset and the existing ProExhibits strategy — Freeman's Rent or Buy Your Trade Show Exhibit? and Skyline's Rent, Buy, or Hybrid Strategies Explained . Multiple major competitors treat ownership-model comparison as commercially valuable content, so this isn't a theoretical keyword opportunity.
